Dazu Four Directions
“Da” refers to people with the ability to act and create; “Zu” refers to a place where many people gather together; “Four Directions” is derived from the Four Directions Street ( Sifang Street ), the most central public space in traditional Naxi towns and villages, serving as a hub for cultural, economic, and social activities.
达祖四方是 PF 3 共建平台发起的一个以乡村为场域的实践项目,位于四川省凉山州泸沽湖达祖村。项目由 PF 3 联合 喜林苑、达祖森林农场合作社 及多方合作伙伴共同推进,探索当代乡村的可持续共建路径。
Dazu Four Directions is a rural-based practice project, located in Dazu Village by Lugu Lake, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Initiated by the PF 3 co-building platform, the project is jointly developed with Linden Center, the Dazu Forest Farm Cooperative, and a network of partners, exploring sustainable models of commoning in contemporary Chinese rural contexts.
